1. Once there was a little fly. One day, he could not remember his name! He tried and tried to remember it, but it was of no use.
अनुवादः एक बार एक छोटी मक्खी अपना नाम याद करने की कोशिश करता है, बहुत याद करता है परंतु उसको अपना नाम याद नहीं आता।
2. He had forgotten his name. He asked an ant, “Ant, do you know my name?” The ant said, “I don’t know. You may ask the tree I climb.”
अनुवाद: वह अपना नाम भूल जाता है और चींटी से पूछ्छता है “तुम्हें मेरा नाम पता है?” चींटी कहती है “मुझे नहीं पता तुम पेड़ से पूह्ठ सकते हो जिस पर मैं चढ़ रही हूँ।”
3. The fly said, “Dear tree, do you know my name?” The tree said, “I don’t know. You may ask the cow sleeping in my shade,”
अनुवादः मक्खी पूछ्छती है, “प्रिय पेड़ क्या तुम्हें मेरा नाम पता है?” पेड़ कहता है, “मुझे नहीं पता तुम इस गाय से पूछो जो मेरी छाँव में बैठी है।”
4. The fly went near the cow and asked, “Dear cow, do you know my name?”‘ The cow said, “I don’t know. You may ask the grass I eat.”
अनुवादः मक्खी फिर गाय के पास जाता है, “प्रिय गाय क्या तुम्हें मेरा नाम पता है?” गाय कहती है, “मुझे नहीं पता तुम इस घास से पूछ्छ लो जो मैं खाती हूँ।”
5. The fly went to the grass and asked, “Dear grass, do you know my name?” The grass said, “I don’t know. You may ask the leaves fallen on me.”
अनुवादः मक्खी फिर घास के पास जाता है और पूछ्छता है। “क्या तुम मेरा नाम जानती हो?” घास कहती है, ” मुझे नहीं पता तुम पत्तों से पूळ्छो जो मुझ पर गिरे हुए हैं।”
6. The fly asked a leaf fallen on the grass, “Dear leaf, do you know my name?” The leaf was about to answer, when the wind blew. The leaf began to fly. Seeing this, the fly remembered his name! “My name is Fly! My name is Fly!” he said happily.
